After The Dining Rooms’ success obtained with the album Numero Deux, published recently in the U.S., Japan, and Germany on the label Guidance Recordings, Milano 2000 offers this 12” where the rarefied atmospheres of two of the most beautiful pieces on the album are reinterpreted by two of the most prominent production teams of the moment: Fragment Orchestra’s appeal transforms the classical chill out “Sei tu” into a slow and broken funk with psychedelic nu- jazz atmospheres, while Four Tet transforms the ballad “Così ti amo” into an intriguing cosmic journey through jazz with a touch of blues.
