“Higher Ground” is the first in a series of singles taken from The Dining Rooms’ new album “Lost in the Spinning Sound”, which will be released in early 2026 and will be entirely sung by Chiara Castello.
It’s a soft psychedelic ballad, between folk and cinematic suggestions, that best introduces the mood of the album to come. “Higher Ground” is a consideration about the desire to grow without losing one’s own essence.
Between insecurities and inner struggles, the song questions what really drives us to move forward: love, a feeling of home, or the search for a more elevated purpose.
The song will be accompanied by a video with illustrations by Sara Vivan, whose work will constitute the visual part of this album.
