“Just Pretend” is the fourth single from The Dining Rooms’ forthcoming album, “Lost in the Spinning Sound”, set for release in March 2026; the album will be entirely sung by Chiara Castello.
It is a song that explores the moment when a dream is shattered, leaving behind only the echo of what could have been. A reflection suspended between disenchantment and desire, where one wonders whether it is still worth believing… or whether it is easier to keep pretending.
Accompanying the single is a visually stunning video featuring illustrations by Sara Vivan, whose artwork defines the visual identity of the new album.
